Privacy Policy
This page explains what information we collect when you visit this website or call the number on it, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We don’t sell your personal information for money.
- When you call, the call is connected to an independent pest control provider near you, so they’ll get the details you share on the phone.
- Calls may be recorded and logged for quality, billing, and fraud prevention.
- This site uses basic technical data and cookies to work properly and to understand how people use it.
- You can ask us questions about your information at any time.
The rest of this page gives you the details.
Who we are
This website is run by Norvane Rodent Control (“we,” “us,” “our”), a free referral service that connects people in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and nearby cities with independent, licensed pest control providers. We don’t perform pest control work ourselves. See our Disclosure page for how that works.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you call the number on this site, we and the provider you’re connected with may receive:
- Your phone number (through caller ID)
- Your name and service address, if you share them
- Details about your rodent problem, such as what you’ve seen, where, and how urgent it is
- Anything else you choose to say on the call
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, our hosting provider and the tools we use may collect:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city or region level)
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages you visit, how long you stay, and the page that sent you here
- The date and time of your visit
- Whether you tapped a call button
Call data
Calls placed through the number on this site may be routed through a call-tracking system. That system can log the date, time, length, caller ID, and the general location of the call, and the call may be recorded. If a call is recorded, you’ll typically hear a notice at the start of the call. If you don’t want the call recorded, you can hang up at any time.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Connect your call to a provider who serves your area
- Make sure calls are connected correctly and handled well
- Track how many calls come from each page, so we can improve the site
- Settle billing with providers and marketing partners
- Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
- Keep the website secure and working properly
- Meet legal obligations
Who we share information with
- Pest control providers. When you call, the provider you’re connected with receives your call and the information you share on it. That provider handles your information under its own privacy practices.
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the site and phone system, such as web hosting, call tracking, and analytics. They can only use the information to provide services to us.
- Marketing partners. Call networks that route calls and handle billing may receive call data such as phone number, call time, and length.
- Legal and safety reasons. If required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users, providers, or the public.
- Business changes. If this website is sold or transferred, information may be part of that transfer.
We don’t sell your personal information for money. Sharing call data with providers and call networks is part of how a referral service works, and that’s why we explain it here.
Cookies and similar tools
This website uses cookies and similar tools to remember settings, keep the site secure, and measure how visitors use it. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to control cookies in your browser.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Call logs and recordings are typically kept for a limited time for quality and billing, then deleted. Website analytics data is kept in summary form.
How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect information, including secure (HTTPS) connections to this website. No system is perfectly secure, though, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Calls: You decide what to share on a call, and you can end the call at any time.
- Cookies: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Access, correction, or deletion: You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and as required by law.
- State privacy rights: Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses of your data. Contact us to make a request.
- Do-not-call: We don’t make marketing calls or send marketing texts. If a provider contacts you and you don’t want to hear from them again, tell them directly and they should honor it.
Children’s privacy
This website is meant for adults looking for pest control help. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

This site may link to other websites. We’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so check their policies before sharing information with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we’ll make that clear on the site.
